what kind of chat?
My favorites are games, learning/tut, challenge and open ended questions on a set topic that the challenge is focused on. Meet the Designer are also interesting. I love freebies!!

yes - I am very aware of our people around the world.... I did a chat at Digitals when I was in Germany.... I think it was "Around the World In 60 minutes".... LOL something like that.
I am just trying to get a general consensus on when people can be here - and those who would like to chat.....
Of course there will be freebies... I am not sure about the theme - or if it will be different kinds of chats.... I just want it fun! lol

I would love to get another chat going here. The other chat is in the middle of the night to me! I have tried to stay up a couple of times, but with small children it makes it difficult! Can't wait to see what happens!!!

I am bumping this thread - I am looking to start a weekly??? chat in the mornings or early afternoon. We have the cheeky chat every Sunday night at 9pm EST. We also have some other ones in the evening starting soon.....
So I thought it might be nice to have a morning one for other people time frames.... check out the poll too - you should be able to change your vote if you need to - only a few people voted though....

I find it difficult to get to your chat because of the time difference. I am about 6 hours ahead of you timewise, but if you could make a time of about 3pm CST available I could be there - 9pm my time. Unfortunately our Liz would be in her bed still.
Something else that might work is to incorporate a once weekly speed scrap into the chatter. You get loads of chit chat with that anyway and the SS can be an icebreaker too.

Well I live in the UK wh0ich is CST + 6 hours and Liz is in Australia which is about 8 hours ahead of me. ( I was chatting to her the other night at midnight my time and she was eating her breakfast)
Working on CST, GMT and Aus Time, these are the only times we could all feasibly tie up.
GMT CST Aus 20H00 14H00 07H00 21H00 15H00 08H00 22H00 16H00 09H00 23H00 17H00 10H00 00H00 18H00 11H00
We live too far apart

so speaking genericly and using Vanessa's calculations
N/S Am Europe Aus-E. Asia mid-afternoon late even morning - maybe evening night morning - nope late even night mid-day - nope night early afternoon nope early morn afternoon early even - ok mid-morn late afternoon late even - could work mid-day early even night -- nope
not a lot of possibilities in catching all three - spread to evenly around the globe.
